Hello everyone.
My name is Rich Knapp.
I'm the team manager for the LYNX and OXY pilots.

A little about me:
Years ago I was a car guy. (full size ones). I used to customize them and take them to car shows.


Back in 90's I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and started Natural Bodybuilding to fight it. Cars were no longer a hobby.
By early 2000's I ended up in using a wheelchair 80 to 95% of the time but still became the worlds first wheelchair WNBF Pro bodybuilder.



This brings me to 2011 I think. I started to fly heli's as a way to train my eye hand coordination.
I fell in love at that time even though it was just a Great Wall 9958.

I tried a few BNF and RTF kits and started to add upgrades by Lynx. Fell in love with the way they worked for me and Lynx (Luca) took notice of me and my friends and follower because how honest I was.

Lynx brought me on as a field rep in the beginning. I started to build pretty birds and even though I'm only a sport flier people started to follow me and come to me for help.








Just a few of my builds.

Lynx seen how I managed my time and helped people so they brought me on as the TEAM Lynx/OXY HELI manager and I love working with the team. Great group of guys.

Hobby is about the love to fly and passion, any flying style.

Un résumé rapide me concernant...
Il y a quelques années, j étais passionné d'auto echelle 1:1, je les préparais et participait à des représentations


Dans les années 90, on m a diagnostiqué des scléroses et j ai commencé a faire du bodybuilding naturel pour combattre la maladie. Les voitures n'étaient plus un hobby pour moi.
Au début des années 2000, j étais dans un fauteuil roulant entre 80 et 95% du temps mais je suis devenu le premier champion de la ligue WNBF de bodybuilder professionnel.

Cela m'a emmené jaux environs de 2011. J ai commencé à faire voler des hélicos pour travailler la coordination entre mes yeux et mes mains.
Je suis tombé amoureux d un truc qui était juste un hélico RC un Great Wall 9958.

J ai essayé beaucoup de kit BNF et RTF et j ai commencé a ajouté des upgrades Lynx.
Comme j aimais bien leur facon de travailler, j ai commencé avec des amis à prendre contact avec Lynx (Luca) et nous sommes devenu adepte mais honnete avec eux.

J ai commencé à représenter Lynx sur les terrains. J ai construit de jolies machines et souvent, malgré le fait que je ne fasse que des vols sportifs, des gens se sont mis a suivre mes aventures et m 'ont rejoint pour m aider








Ca n est seulement que quelques unes de mes machines !

Lynx a découvert comment je gérais mon temps et comment j aidais les gens, ils m ont donc proposé de gérér la TEAM Lynx/OXY HELI et j adore travailler avec cette team. Un bon groupe de gars !!!!

J adore ce hobby, quelque soit le style de vol et c est vraiment devenu une passion !!!

"Wolrd's first" doesn't mean "champion" but just the first of the history. That's right?

•2000 Midwest Championships 1st Open Light Weight Open Class
•2001 Great Lakes Pro-Qualifier2nd Open Light Weight Open Class
•2001 WI State Championships 2nd Open Light Weight Open Class
•2002 Wisconsin State Championships 1st place Open Light Weight Class
•2002 Great Lakes Pro-Qualifier 2nd place Open Class Light Weight Class
•2003 Great Lakes Pro-Qualifier 3rd place Open Light Weight Class

There was another INBF show in the early 2000’s in there, I totally blew coming in and didn’t place.

11 Shows, Placings in class: 3 = 1st’s , 4 = 2nd’s, 3= 3rd’s.

Post Wheelchair:

(The first 3 shows I did, wheelchair was 1 class, like a “Over All” , but w/c couldn’t do the shows “Over all” for a card and the w/c “over all” win didn’t give out a Pro card)
•2010 INBF US Central Championships 1st Place Wheelchair Class
•2010 INBF WI State Championships 1st Place Wheelchair Class
•2010 NANBF Mr. Natural Minnesota Physically Challenged 1st Place
•2011 INBF Buckeye Classics- Natural Wheelchair Nationals/Pro Qualifier 1st Place (won WNBF Pro card) (1st Wheelchair Pro in WNBF history)

4 Shows, Placing in class: 4= 1st’s

CAREER Amateur PLACINGS 46.66%, if I entered a show, I place 1st in my class.

(This is not bragging, just statistic facts)

15 Shows:

1st= 7 , 2nd= 4 , 3rd= 3

ONLY: 1 out of the 15 shows didn't place in top 3 in class.
